The Workplace Health Hazards
The workplace has many and varied sources of health hazards. Environmental hazards in the workplace fall into four general categories: Chemical agents, carry risks of skin allergies; Biological agents, such as bacteria or viruses; Physical agents, such as noise or vibration heightens levels of mental stress and contributes to complaints and disabilities; Musculoskeletal disorders or muscle or connective tissue strains and injuries precipitated by using poorly designed tools, maintaining awkward positions, and performing repetitive motions.
